Wangaratta has a brand new Performing Arts Centre and we are showcasing headline acts in the Alpine MDF Theatre and Memorial Hall

The Performing Arts Centre contains two separate performance spaces. One is the theatre, with raked seating for around 540. The other is a flat-floor hall, which depending on seating configurations, will provide seating for around 350 patrons.  For a venue sneak peek, take a look here.

Inspiration

"For the past twenty years, the city of Wangaratta has played a critical role in the development of jazz in this country. Its annual Festival has helped nurture a generation of talented musicians, and provided a forum for experimentation; and in doing so has challenged audiences to expand their musical horizons. For those of us who have followed the Festival from its infancy, it’s been an incredible journey. I know I speak for many in wishing Wangaratta Jazz every success for its next twenty years."  Des Cowley, Rythms Magazine 2009
